Do I need coding knowledge?
No. Configure the strategy and parameter ranges in Roboquant, then run the optimization and open the saved results in the simulator.
What prop firms are supported?
Apex Trader Funding (50k/100k/150k), TopStep (50k/100k/150k), FTMO (100k), and The Trading Pit (Futures Prime). You can also configure custom rules for any prop firm.
How accurate is the simulation?
We use sliding window analysis that replays your strategy from every possible start date against the actual prop firm rules. This is more rigorous than a simple Monte Carlo — it preserves real market regime effects.
What is net expected value?
Net EV = (pass probability × average payout) − challenge fee. If it's positive, the challenge is worth taking over time. If negative, you're statistically guaranteed to lose money.
Can I compare different account sizes?
Yes. Run the same strategy against Apex 50k, 100k, and 150k to find which evaluation gives you the best expected return relative to the challenge fee.
What is the risk multiplier sweep?
