Apex Trader Funding Automation with Roboquant Connect
Roboquant Connect routes TradingView alerts to Tradovate accounts, including Apex accounts issued on Tradovate. Prop firms set their own rules on automated and hands-off trading, and they change, so check Apex Trader Funding’s current rules before you connect an account.
Check Apex’s rules before you automate
Prop firms set their own rules on automated and hands-off trading, and they change. Check Apex Trader Funding’s current rules before automating an evaluation or funded account. Roboquant Connect executes your alerts; it does not make a strategy compliant with any prop firm’s rules.

Execution Without the Manual Work
Without Automation
- Placing the same trade on several accounts by hand is slow
- Manual order entry adds delay and typos
- Tracking daily limits across accounts is error-prone
- A runaway alert can overtrade before you notice
With Roboquant
- One alert can go to every connected Tradovate account
- Orders follow the alert exactly, with no retyping
- Per-account daily trade and daily loss limits
- A kill switch blocks every new order at once
Risk Controls
Limits You Set Per Account
These controls limit what Connect sends. They are not a replacement for your prop firm’s own drawdown and rule checks.
Max Daily Loss
Based on realized P&L. Once reached, orders that open or add to a position are blocked; exits still go through. Resets at 00:00 UTC, not at your prop firm’s reset time.
Kill Switch
Block every new order, globally or per account. Existing positions are not closed for you.
Symbol Whitelist
Only the symbols you allow are traded. Contract months are matched by root, so ESH5 matches ES.
Max Daily Trades
Caps orders per account per day, 50 by default. Blocked orders do not count toward the limit.
Execution Log
Every execution is logged, alongside open positions and a P&L calendar.
Getting Started
Set Up in Three Steps
After you have confirmed your account’s rules allow it
Connect Tradovate

Set Your Limits
Choose a symbol whitelist and daily trade and loss limits for each account.
Link TradingView Alerts
Copy your webhook URL and the Alert Builder JSON into TradingView. When an alert fires, orders go to the accounts you selected.

Using Roboquant Connect with Apex Trader Funding accounts
Prop firms set their own rules on automated and hands-off trading, and they change. Check Apex Trader Funding’s current rules before automating an evaluation or funded account. Roboquant cannot confirm that any particular setup is allowed.
If your Apex accounts are issued on Tradovate, log in to Tradovate through Connect’s OAuth flow and every account under that login is added.
No tool can promise that. Connect executes the alerts your TradingView strategy sends; whether you pass depends on the strategy and on following the firm’s rules. Connect does not provide trading signals.
Yes. One alert can go to every selected Tradovate account, with a fixed quantity or a multiplier per account. Some prop firms limit how many accounts you may trade or copy between, so check yours.
It uses realized P&L. Once reached, orders that open or add to a position are blocked while exits still go through, and the trade that crosses the limit is not capped. It resets at 00:00 UTC, which is not a prop firm’s reset time, so keep your own margin below the firm’s drawdown.
You log in on Tradovate’s own page with OAuth, so Connect never sees your password. Credentials are encrypted at rest.
Roboquant Connect is included with Starter, Pro, Elite and Ultra plans on Roboquant 2.0. On its own it is $39.90/month with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime. See the Connect pricing page for current plans.
